Common issue: Making beeping sound.
Check: Are the doors fully closed? Beeping may be the unit alerting you that the doors were not fully closed.
Was power recently restored after a power outage? Beeping may be alerting you that the unit went without power for a period of time. In this case, there will be an indicator message above the water & ice dispenser. To stop the beeping, press the button below this message. The message will disappear. Check your perishables carefully to ensure they have not spoiled.

Wood Burning Stove
Step 1: Open Air Vents: Fully open all air vents on your stove. This usually includes below the fire and above it on the chimney stack.
Step 2: Place Large Logs: Lay 1-2 small-to-medium dried logs parallel to each other on the firebox floor. If using 2, leave small gaps between them for air to circulate.
Step 3: Add Kindling: Stack a crisscross ‘Jenga’ tower of dry kindling on top of the large logs.
Step 4: Position Firelighters: Place one or two natural firelighters in the center of your kindling stack.
Step 5: Light the Fire: Using a long match or lighter, ignite the firelighters.
Step 6: Close the Door: Shut the stove door and engage the latch.
Step 7: Adjust Airflow: Once the logs are well-alight (usually after another 10-15 minutes), you can begin to slowly reduce the air controls to achieve a steady, dancing flame. Don’t close them completely.
Step 8: Feed The Fire: Once the fire has spread from the kindling to the logs and is burning them steadily, you can begin feeding the fire with larger logs. Use 1-2 at a time, never overfeeding the fire. Keep an eye on it and feed steadily over time as necessary to maintain.
Safety Tips: Never leave the stove unattended with the door ajar. Never overfeed the fire.

Programable Light Switches
Some of our outdoor lights are on timers, so no need to be surprised or alarmed when you see these turn on in the evening. We prefer that you not change any settings on these switches nor turn them off at night, (specifically during Spring, Summer, and Fall months, when these lights help to discourage bats from hanging out in our eaves.)
If you do need to turn one of the programable switches on/off, no need to open the little door flap on it. Instead just push gently on the outside of the door flap (in the upper right corner for some switches) as if it were a button to toggle the light on/off manually.
